How we handle your website enquiry.
This notice explains how Jaza Capital Limited ("Jaza", including its Jaza Inclusive Finance Initiative, "JIFI") uses personal data submitted through this website, in line with Kenya's Data Protection Act, 2019.
What we collect
When you use the contact form we collect your name, email address, and, if you choose to give them, your organisation, phone number and the content of your message. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.
Why we use it
We use these details only to read, route and respond to your enquiry, and to keep a record of the correspondence. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you give when you submit the form. We do not sell your data or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who processes it
The website and its form are hosted by Netlify, Inc., which stores form submissions on our behalf and screens them for spam. Because Netlify operates outside Kenya, your data may be processed abroad under appropriate safeguards. Only authorised Jaza staff can access submissions.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry records only as long as needed to deal with the enquiry and any resulting relationship, after which they are deleted.
Your rights
You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by emailing info@jazacapital.co.ke. If you are unhappy with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Data Protection Commissioner (ODPC), Kenya.
Please don't send sensitive details
Do not include national ID numbers, PINs, passwords or bank/M-Pesa account details in the form. Jaza will never request these by email or web form.
